“KERMIT THE FROG”
Less than 2 weeks until our first 613 event at the Riceville Fair Grounds Test and Tune begins at 10AM to 4PM Saturday May 18th. General admission will be $5.00 per person for the day. Our next event will be on June 1st, 2024, beginning at 1PM at the Navan Fair Grounds located just East of Ottawa. Don’t miss this one, as it is the first major pull in Eastern Ontario in 2024. The photo shown above is of our recently purchased Class One Pulling Sled. We picked it up in Southern Ontario on May 5th for all the Garden Tractor classes. We named it “Kermit the Frog,” reflecting its lime green colour and highlighted in purple & white.
Waltzing Matilda is off to Als Paint Shop and our Support Vehicle goes to Mr. Radiator in Alexandria for a new clutch and a yearly safety check. Replaced all the tires and brakes on our tilt trailer and it passed its safety check. It is good to go for 2024.
Finally, our insurance coverage is in place for the 2024 season. Stoneridge Specialty Insurance located in Ancaster, Ontario will be our provider in 2024 /2025,
One major change this year is that paper waivers are no longer accepted. You will have to fill out online or on your phone for a single event or a yearly waiver before entering the pits or track for any and all events for 613 MGTPA in 2024.
There will be a special button or tab on our home page giving you event information and waiver information to be completed.
Gulf Race Fuels has signed on through R&R Engines, Eric Blais, as the official fuel of 613 MGTPA Inc. for all pullers competing for money and points. Each team will be required to purchase one 5 gallon can of fuel per year to participate. No testing will be required, however you must supply a paid invoice for your GULF RACING FUEL from R&R Small Engines in Alexandria to qualify for yearly points before June 1st Navan Event.
