Marc Chartrand, Ottawa, Ontario, Keynote Speaker
Marc Chartrand, Ottawa, Ontario, Announcing at Tractor & Truck Pulling Events.

Mr. Marc Chartrand, Ottawa, Ontario

Born in 1970 In Montreal, Quebec.

In the 90's my Uncle and My brother both purchased Pulling trucks and the northern Series NEEDED an announcer. I was then announcing truck and tractor pulling, Snowmobile racing, drag racing and the New York State Snowmobile water cross championships.

Since then I have traveled to Germany to announce and Sweden (at Tractor Pulls). Announced the entire Mud Drag Racing Series (M.R.A.) from Louisiana Texas, Maine and throughout the USA.

In the last 5 years I have concentrated more locally as my desire to travel for 20 hours + to do a 7 hour show has lessened.

I have a background in the world of motorsports, having grown up in a family that was heavily involved in racing. From motocross to truck and tractor pulling, snowmobile racing, and even drag racing, I have announced events all over the world. I have a deep passion for all things horsepower, and this is evident in the work that I do today.

Currently, I run an "International dyno" where I test and tune performance engines and vehicles of all kinds. I also participate in drag racing, motorcycle racing, and snowmobiling with friends. With over 30 motorsports events to announce each year, I still love being a part of the action.

In the past year, I purchased a single engine modified 6500 lb. pulling tractor, which my nephew has turned into a highly competitive tractor within his class. I handle the Engine tuning, while my brother handles the transportation. With my experience and love for all things horsepower, I "live, eat, and breathe 5252". I enjoy speaking with anyone who shares my passion for motorsports, horsepower and competition.
